My name is Linda. I am taking a writing course this
semester. I’m lucky to study with a very good instructor. Her name is Catherine
Hay, but everyone calls her “Cath”. She is very strict with time, so she makes
sure that all students come to class on time. That is why I never leave for
school late when I have a class with her. When the class starts, students have
to turn off their phones. If we have a quiz or an examination, we have to put
away all our bags and books. Cath has so many rules, but she is a very good
teacher. She teaches well and explains clearly. I am really learning a lot from
her. In addition, she is very helpful. She gives a lot of advice to her
students. For example, she always tells everyone in the class to never give up
on their studies and dreams. I like her a lot.
